- Design, engineer, and deploy on MS SQL Server.

- Design and develop optimal solutions to migrate or upgrade existing databases to new platform or DBMS versions.
- Build and leverage automation and DB DevSecOps pipelines to provision, upgrade, patch, and maintain DB systems.
- Support DB change requests and problem investigation and resolution of both production and non-production environments.
**Competencies**: NoSQL Key-Value DB, IT IS_AMS_Oracle Database Administration, IT IS_AMS_Database_MS SQL Server
**Experience (Years)**: 6-8
**Essential Skills**:
- 5+ years of hands-on DBA experience and strong skills on MS SQL Server
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Sound knowledge and 1+ year experience with Database automation and DB DevSecOps (e.g. Ansible, AWS CDK, GitHub Action, Liquibase, shell scripting, Python, SQL)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- In-depth team and collaboration skills
- In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
**Desirable Skills**:
- Nice to have sound knowledge of Oracle or AWS RDS, Redshift, preferable with 1+ year hands-on experiences
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
