In addition to the regular duties of a server, the FOH Manageris the direct supervisor of all Front of House staff. Additional responsibilities include:
- Supervise the activities of restaurant staff.
- Coordinate and direct restaurant activities based on guest traffic flow.
- Establish work schedules and procedures and check regularly that everyone is following them.
- Reviewing cash receipts and making deposits
- Ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation and overall workplace safety standards.
- Complete, estimate, and order inventory/stocks for accurate ordering of food and supplies.
- Address customer complaints or concerns.
- Prepare food order summaries for the kitchen team.
- Ensure food service and quality control, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Complete reports.
- Conduct a daily inspection of the kitchen and serveries to identify and resolve problem issues.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Other tasks and responsibilities that assists the Manager to achieve company objectives in sales, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, product quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
Key attributes include:

- Focused of customer satisfaction
Requirements include responsible beverage service certification, several years experience as a restaurant server. Relevant experience with supervision is an asset.
