Octiscapes Site Services is hiring for an exceptional roll off truck driver.

About us
We are a demolition excavation and drainage company with a thriving business in metro Vancouver. We are growing and seek an additional roll off truck driver to join our team. Monday to Friday full time based out of our Richmond yard. We offer competitive wages, overtime, company phone, and medical/dental benefits.

Duties for this position include delivering disposal bins to various residential construction sites, delivering bins for disposal to local recycling and transfer sites, and providing excellent customer service. The work is 100% internal and the driver will be supported by our in house mechanic for maintenance and service. In addition to this we are looking for exceptional attention to detail when it comes to communications and paper work. You must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

To be successful in this position you must:

- Possess Class 3 license with air-brakes or higher
- Have exceptional knowledge of Vancouver roads and truck routes, and good knowledge of Metro Vancouver
- Have 2-5 years experience driving roll off truck
- On occasion a bin will need to have left over debris brushed or shoveled out, must be physically able to perform these duties when needed
- Be able to complete pre/post trip inspections nd manage documentation from suppliers (weight tickets and slips)
- Have good housekeeping, maintain the trucks cleanliness, and schedule with the repair shop for repairs and maintenance
- Complete a dynamic delivery schedule, and be able to manage shifting priorities during the work day
- Always work in a safe and timely manner
- Required to be able to lift and attach and detach the roll-off hooks, requires bending and an ability to lift 25-50lbs

The successful applicant will be driving a Western Star roll off truck, complete with drive products rail system and high tower

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
