**E/I Production Lead - Position Summary**

Wave Control Systems Ltd., an industry leader in engineered process and control equipment, is seeking an Electrical Technician or Instrumentation Technician/Technologist to join our team working full time.

The E/I Production Lead will serve as Wave Control’s Production Manager for small batch manufacturing. S/he will work with a multi-discipline team of engineers, technologists, and tradespeople to finalize designs for production, and go on to manage the EI and mechanical aspects of the manufacturing process. The Lead will manage and work with a small team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget. These are typically fast paced projects ranging in turnaround from a few days to a few months for new small batch custom equipment, product development, and integration projects. This position will report to the General Manager/President.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Electrical and/or Instrumentation, or related field
- 3-5 years small batch manufacturing experience
- 3-5 years leadership experience, managing a small technical team in a production or field setting
- Experience with equipment and/or processes such as fluid analyzers, controls, valves, and/or mechatronics
- Ability to interpret client needs to effectively ensure the provision of applicable solutions

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work as a leadership team member in engineering and production to ensure that all E/I aspects of production are successful, from reviewing drawings for production suitability through product completion, which will include close collaboration with other aspects of the production process
- Evaluate and provide feedback on bid specifications and proposals
- Provide technical support to clients and production staff
- Conduct field work to implement product launches and maintenance as required
- Actively contribute to refining the production process with best practices and integrating it with other business processes
