Board Certified Behaviour Analyst/bcba

Job Description **:In person services in our clinic in Oshawa, In-Home services or Virtual combinations within Durham region, Ontario**

KIDZ AUTISM AND SPEECH CLINIC is currently looking for skilled individuals to fill Permanent part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst positions in Oshawa clinic **to provide in person services & Virtual supervision.** This position is an independent contractor position. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for conducting assessments and supervising the implementation of applied behavior analysis programs for children with ASD. The BCBA will be expected to collaborate with other professionals and other disciplines while providing their expertise in ABA to generate an individualized program for each child.
- Conducting functional and behavioral assessments
- Collecting and graphing data
- Providing hands on therapy to children in a variety of settings (1:1/in-home)
- Provide ideas and input for new programming and initiatives
- Taking part in the development and implementation of individual behavior plans with the therapists
- Reports to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum performance standards according to company guidelines
- Take on a training/mentoring role to new therapists
- Preparation and development of programs and materials
- Participation in team and parent meetings
- Demonstrates superior customer service through professionalism, courtesy, consistent and timely follow
- up, and positive communication.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A Certified BCBA or BCBA-D
- 1-2 years of experience working as a BCBA supervisor preferred
- Practical experience with direct interaction and ABA play therapy with children diagnosed with Autism **Excellent communication skills, written and verbal**:

- Excellent collaborative attitude and willingness to mentor new staff members
- Recent Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening (not older than 6 months)
