As a certified Great Place to Work, and one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, we take pride in our talented people and collaborative culture that bring our client's vision to life. **About the Information Technology (IT) Manager position**: Key Houle business systems include JDE Enterprise One, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Microsoft SharePoint, NetHelpdesk and a Construction Project Management system. **Information Technology (IT) Manager** Duties and Responsibilities: * - Manage day to day, key third-party software, support vendor relationships and support the allocation of resources for the successful delivery of IT projects - Lead and mentor the IT team, guide team priorities and foster a "customer centric", team approach - Review new business proposals; collaborate with business representatives on short-term and medium-term modifications to demand - Maintain a register of business requests and report on as needed - Implement demand management planning activities. Support stakeholders in adoption and adherence to the approach - Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, during investigations, feasibility studies and business case preparation - Prepare project and enhancement plans, manage projects and allocate IT resources appropriately - Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing system testing - Monitor and report on supplier performance and satisfaction levels. Work collaboratively with suppliers to resolve problems or unsatisfactory performance. Implement supplier management-related service improvement initiatives and programs - Act as a primary liaison between the IT team, lines of business and other stakeholders - Support organizational change management activities and implement change control procedures and practices for the IT team **Experience and Skills**: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related specialized training and equivalent work experience - Experience managing software technology vendors and outsourcing to service providers - Experience with Helpdesk Software, ERP Systems, and Microsoft technology stack - A background in business analysis and project management is an asset - Experience managing teams with the ability to coach others - Self-motivated, highly responsible with sound judgment - Ability to take direction, deliver on clear expectations, and ask questions when required - Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities - Must be collaborative with excellent customer service skills - Must have the ability to elicit and assess feedback Culture is important at Houle.
