**Community Services Worker**

(Full-time Contract from June 2, 2025, 2025 to July 27, 2025)

**To be eligible for this position, you must meet the participant requirements under the Canada Summer Jobs Agreement with as outlined**:

- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

**What you'll get to do**:

- Provide pre-screening employment services to newcomer clients who seek information
- Conduct follow-ups for existing EAP clients to collect feedbacks for improvement
- Prepare and develop Employment Service orientation packages
- Categorize, organize and update existing promotion materials
- Support in research and develop employment-related training materials such as workshop materials
- Conduct research on updates of employment standards and regulations in order to develop tools such as resource sheets, tutorials, and guides for clients to the CCS EAP program

**What you need to know/have**:

- Conduct research on updates of employment standards and regulations, and resources in order to develop tools such as resource sheets, tutorials, and guides for clients to the CCS EAP program
- Conduct research and synthesize information to develop resources to support best practices in supporting newcomer job seekers
- Develop an orientation binder and deliver training sessions to introduce the findings to the EAP team
- Categorize, organize and update existing promotion materials
- Support in research and develop employment-related training materials such as workshop materials

**Location**: 1200 Markham Road

**Hours**: 35 per week, occasional weekends and evenings may be required.

**Compensation**: $17.20 per hour
