Peak Provisions Mountain Grocery and Goods is a local boutique grocer, deli, cheesemonger and lunch counter. We are a community based business owned and operated by Squamish residents and committed to providing the town of Squamish with high quality unique grocery items, beautiful deli items, and a comfortable places to shop, eat, drink and connect with others in their community.

Peak Provisions is seeking individuals to join our Peak team. We are looking for enthusiastic and community minded individuals to join us in our little grocery store to help with day to day activities in both our lunch counter and deli.
- Opening and closing duties
- General cash handling, point of sale use and credit card terminals.
- Small cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping and general cleanliness.
- Assisting customers in bagging up groceries, finding grocery items and helping in the deli
- Creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all customers.
- Engaging with customers to create a welcoming environment
- Stocking shelves, helping the GM with merchandising and maintaining the look of the store. Serving guests at our lunch/ dinner counter

Coffee, espresso and alcohol beverage preparation experience is an asset but can train the right person

Compensation and Perks
- Both full and part time work is available
- Hourly wages are based on previous experience, are competitive and aim to provide a living wage for its sector.
- Hours are flexible for students
- Holiday bonuses are included after 6 months of service at Peak Provisions.

- Full and part time employees will have the opportunity to try, taste, and participate in sales training regarding all products, menus and events in the store.
- 1 staff meal per shift.

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
