**Join us now as a Microscopy Specialist** where you will receive training to provide on-site technical support for JEOL cryo-electron microscopes in a highly automated, high throughput drug discovery lab environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure the continuous up-time and peak performance of the JEOL equipment located within the facility
- Assist the facilities scientists and microscopists in the use of the equipment.
- Participate as a product development team member by acting as the liaison between the equipment’s users and JEOL development and product management located in Japan and the United States
- Prepare materials and documentation for training and continued use of the equipment and associated techniques
- Work with third party vendors on testing of new accessory instrumentation and provide feedback to these vendors for instrument improvement

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
- A minimum of 1-2 years related experience
- Electronic, mechanical, data management, computing hardware, networking, programming skills and experience are desired and will weigh heavily in the selection process
- Experience with CryoEM, cryogenic sample preparation, and/or biological TEM imaging is preferred, but not required
- 20% travel is anticipated to customer sites in North and South America to provide customer support and training

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
