Position Summary:
Tacten is currently hiring Rope Certified Journeyperson Pipefitters to support upcoming work at Shell Scotford in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our team, performing high-angle tasks with precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety.

**Position Details**:
Rate: Starting at $49.73/hour + IRATA Uplift- Rotation: 4 days on / 3 days off- Shifts: 10-hour days (straight time)- Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM- Start Date: July 7- Duration: 2 months, with the potential for extension- Location: Shell Scotford, Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Locals required

**Responsibilities**:
- Installation and Assembly:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.
- Assemble and install piping systems and related equipment following specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment.
- Install supports, valves, and other control equipment.Maintenance and Repair:

- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems.
- Perform regular maintenance to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Replace defective or worn components as necessary.Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.- Collaboration and Communication:

- Work collaboratively with other trades, contractors, and team members.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers regarding project status and any issues encountered.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced pipefitters.

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman Pipefitting Certification Required
- Minimum IRATA Level 1 **required**. Ability to hire those with IRATA Level 2 and 3 as well.

Safety Certifications
- CSTS-2020 or ESC CSO
- CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)
- ESC Fall Protection an asset
