Fort Garry Fire Trucks Rubber Division is looking to hire a full time General Labourer. As a General Labourer in the Rubber Division, you will be part of the team responsible for completing manufactured rubber products.

**Responsibilities and Duties Include**:

- Completing rubber work after the work has been laid out by the supervisor or senior employee
- Working with several types of machinery
- Using basic power and hand tools
- Cleaning up work area
- Assisting with additional duties as assigned

**Applicant Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Fluent spoken and written English and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds individually or 100 pounds with assistance
- Experience reading basic drawings and interpreting the data to select suitable material types
- Experience verifying dimensions using measuring instruments (tape measures, rulers, framing and T-squares) for layouts
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Reliable transportation: bussing is not available at our location
