**_Job Description _** - Shop Hand

The goal is to ensure that the raw product is cut accurately and finished to specifications in a timely manner, while working safely and in accordance with all _OHSA _and employer required safety protocols.

**_For this position, having some construction experience would be an asset._**

**_If you have experience using a CNC machine or experience using an air polisher, we want to hear from you_**

**_Skills & Abilities: _**
- Education - No minimum level required
- Experience - No experience necessary, training will be provided. However, experience using a CNC machine or air polisher is an asset
- Communication / Mathematics - Must speak and write English, and be familiar with addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Must be able to use measurement tools and calculate area, square footage, etc.
- Computer Skills - Highly proficient in CAD/CAM software, computer literate with the use of smart phones / tablets; experience using Microsoft Office an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to maintain patience and see a project through to completion
- Training/Continued Education - from time to time there may be mandatory training courses or certification programs required

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
