We are currently seeking a Business Analyst (Team Lead) to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As the Senior Business Analyst, for a small team, you will assist in the coordination, distribution and oversight of the work within the BA portfolio. Additionally you will use your skills as a Senior BA to complete a variety of projects serving as the liaison between business and technology teams. Your strong communication skills will be used to help business teams maximize the use of technology in their processes.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of business analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Conducts business analysis in order to assess client's business problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that technology solutions can be determined.
- Assists with the development of strategies and preparation of business cases, for business IT initiatives.
- Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects.
- Monitors progress, resolves problems and reports regularly to IT management and clients' decision makers.
- Experience in the use of tools to document conceptual requirements and scope.
- Has experience conducting and documenting JAD sessions.
- Awareness of emerging IT trends and technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
- Previous experience with projects using DevOps methodology would be an asset.
- Strong communication skills to lead discussions with the business and ability to articulate recommendations as well as lead workshops
- Previous experience in leadership roles or managing small teams.
- Understanding of Microsoft tools such as Sharepoint, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure
