Rexel Utility, a leader in the energy solutions & electrical distribution industry, is looking for a** Warehouse Supervisor** located in our **Dartmouth** branch.
**Responsibilities**:
- Administering workflow and preparing work schedules of team members to meet customer service demands.
- Training employees on proper processes and sub-processes as determined by the Warehouse Manager. These will include proper equipment usage, material handling and maintenance.
- Determining which positions should be rotated and considered for training and encourage cross training between all team members.
- Ensuring that all team members achieve proper housekeeping within area of responsibility so that the area is well maintained, productive and in compliance.
- Responsibility for proper maintenance and usage of equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring that all health and safety measures are followed.
**Qualifications**:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a comparable role within a Distribution Centre.
- Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to operate a Reach truck and Forklift would be an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a Distribution Centre.
- Forklift experience or certificate would be an asset.
