**Hours/Schedule**: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm PST and 11-8 PST (9-6 MST and 12-9 MST)**

**Wage**:$29.25**

**Mission Critical AI Technician**

The Mission Critical AI Technician is a skilled professional supporting the operation of high-performance computing infrastructure in AI-driven data center environments. Technicians must be well-versed in the latest technologies related to AI hardware, servers, networking, operating systems, and infrastructure maintenance. This role serves as a key liaison with client site supervisors, executing tasks that ensure optimal system performance and responsiveness. Mission Critical AI Technicians typically support 24/7 operations, working rotating shifts of 8 to 12 hours across 3 to 4 days per week depending on site scheduling requirements.

**Primary duties within varied scope of work and client expectations will range from**
- Provide Smart Hands support in a mission-critical AI data center environment
- Deploy, maintain, and replace AI node hardware systems
- Perform diagnostics, break/fix repair, and IT troubleshooting
- Assist with installation and configuration of servers, network, and storage

hardware
- Execute tasks and service requests as directed by client technical leads or site

supervisors
- Conduct visual inspections of whitespace, cabling, and infrastructure
- Install, label, test, and troubleshoot structured copper and fiber cabling
- Track physical access and escort authorized visitors as needed
- Update asset and inventory management systems accurately and consistently
- Respond to incidents within defined SLAs for acknowledgment and dispatch
- Document all actions and work completed in designated service management

platforms
- Coordinate equipment delivery, unpacking, rack-and-stack, and setup
- Maintain cleanliness of the computer room environment and enforce no
- cardboard policies
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Support uptime objectives, maintenance windows, and change control processes

**Additional Accountabilities**
- 100% completion and fulfillment of client-defined scope of work and expectations
- 100% accurate and timely documentation of work orders and service tasks
- Accurate and timely submission of timesheets, hazard assessments, and incident

reports
- 100% completion of all required safety, security, and compliance training
- 100% adherence to Salute Mission Critical’s operational, safety, and reporting

standards
- 100% compliance with all client-specific security and privacy protocols

**Required qualifications, skills, experience for success**
- Experience in mission-critical data center or colocation environments
- Familiarity with a wide variety of hardware including servers, storage, and

networking
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and escalate as needed
- Proficiency with asset tracking systems and IT service management platforms
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50-70 lbs and operate handling equipment
- Valid driver’s license for work-related travel as needed

**Preferred Qualities Leading to Success**
- Ability to interpret site drawings, technical plans, and rack layouts
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and related documentation tools
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities under time constraints
- Knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and high-availability expectations
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting 24x7 operations, including nights and weekends
- Ability to maintain a professional presence in high-pressure environments
