CE Miles Construction Ltd. is a full service, multi sector builder located in Vancouver, BC specializing in high-end residential, retail, hospitality, institutional, offices and workspaces.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with the Superintendent, Project Manager, schedule subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and material/equipment deliveries to ensure timely completion of the project
- Regularly review quality of work performed to ensure subcontractors are compliant with contracted scope of work, quality assurance, quality control, health and safety and environmental regulations
- Plan and attend regular subcontractor meetings to coordinate the project work on site
- Maintain and update project schedule, identify conflicts in the progress of the work and communicate issues to project team for resolution
- Identify and manage any deficiencies and assist in the completion of punch lists
- In concert with the project team, facilitate required inspections with consultants and local jurisdictions
- Maintain daily log of activities on site, provide a weekly look-ahead schedule complete with photos and maintain project documentation on Procore
- Provide orientation and training to all new site personnel in conjunction with Health and Safety guidelines
**Requirements**:
- Minimum five years experience in wood-frame and concrete construction - preferred
- Proven track record of being able to plan and manage projects at the site level
- Level 1 First Aid certification - preferred
- Knowledge and use of Procore, MS Project, and PlanSwift - preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Motivated and ambitious team player with a high attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize several complex scenarios at once
**Other Preferred Skills/Abilities**:
- Diploma in Construction Management or equivalent education is an asset
- Red Seal trade certificate in carpentry or other trade in is also an asset
**Salary**: $102,847.00-$108,797.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
