**Job Overview**

**Duties**
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our veterinary clinic, including:

- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures
- Preparing and maintaining examination rooms and surgical areas
- Handling and restraining animals safely and humanely
- Administering medications as directed by the veterinarian
- Performing laboratory tests and assisting with diagnostic procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Communicating effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions and treatment plans
- Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the facility

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
