L'Etoile de Pacho is a support network of parents with children with special needs who combined their knowledge and experience to help other parents in similar situations. We offer personalized support services to help families by sharing our experiences, resources, and journey.
We are looking for a hardworking, compassionate caregiver to provide home care to a 9-year-old boy with special needs.
**Schedule**:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 3h15 to 7 pm.
**Tasks description**:
- Assist with daily living activities;
- Assist with wheelchair transfers;
- Assist with feeding;
- Follow a previously established schedule;
- Maintain a healthy, secure, and comfortable environment;
- Use the adapted material for a different type of stimulation;
- Provide hygiene care (changing diapers, bath, etc.);
- Play with him.
**Qualifications**:
- College diploma (DEC) completed or in progress
- 1 to 6 months of experience in personal care or other related fields.
- A high degree of tolerance, empathy, and patience.
