**Responsibilities**:
**Who You Are**

The Data Analyst assists with the standardization, verification and validation of data. They will review and assist with cleansing data held in the current database, Millennium, in anticipation of a database conversion to Salesforce.

**What You’ll Do - Your Key Responsibilities and Duties**

**1. **Verify accuracy and consistency across data sets**
- Liaise as necessary with others across the Business School as required to verify data

**2. **Extract and manipulate data**
- Write queries to review and extract current data sets from tables and objects in Millennium
- Review data for patterns and inconsistencies
- Remove incorrect, incomplete and duplicate data

**3. **Format data in readiness for migration to Salesforce**
- In consultation with the Director, Operations and the Salesforce implementation team, format data in readiness for migration, where possible, assuring timely completion of data conversion.

**4. **Document existing and new business processes related to data hygiene and data integrity**

**What You Have - The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

**Education & Experience**
- Post-secondary education in information and/or data sciences, or business analytics
- Experience exporting, cleansing and interpreting large data sets
- Previous experience in a client/customer service environment an asset

**Skills & Abilities**
- Experience using relational databases, Millennium and/or Salesforce is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server an asset
- Advanced Microsoft Excel data manipulation skills an asset
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Excellent teamwork abilities and communication skills
