- Afternoon Shift - 4 x 10-hour shifts, (Monday to Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..)

About the Position_**: The Facilities Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing a wide variety of special projects, equipment, building and ground maintenance tasks as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. The position also requires the following proficiencies:

- Timely fabrication of special projects, production equipment repairs, jigs, fixtures, devices, shadow boards, visual displays, storage solutions, work stations, etc. as required
- Responsible for timely and cost-effective maintenance, repair, upgrade, and modification of building, grounds, parking lot, and yard.
- Responsible for general preventative maintenance of all production equipment, tools, mobile equipment, and material handling devices
- Advising Facilities Maintenance Supervisor of any operational deviation(s) found.
- Timely execution of maintenance activities as identified by work orders.
- Traceable filing of accurately completed equipment registers and work orders.
- Identification of tools and materials required to execute maintenance, repair, overhaul, upgrade and modification, including local travel to local suppliers to pick up tools and materials
- Other duties as assigned

- Five (5) + years’ experience working within a facility maintenance or building management role an asset
- Fall-Arrest and Working at Heights experience is an asset
- Forklift and Overhead Crane & Slinging experience an asset.
