**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and address swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective case management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders, treatment options, and strategies for improvement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in pediatrics or acute care settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while providing high-quality patient care.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to improving the quality of life for patients.
