**Certified Dental Assistant**

Part-time position available (two days/week)

**Wednesdays** 9am - 4pm

plus one additional day:
Monday, Tuesday or Thursday

Our office is digital and we are equipped with an iTero scanner. We offer extended benefits and uniform allowance after 3 months. Plenty of support to grow through various continuing education, practice specific social events and opportunities to give back to the community.

**Responsibilities**
- Clinical chairside assisting duties
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
- Clean and prepare treatment rooms and sterilize and process instruments in accordance with infection and prevention control guidelines
- Providing a kind and caring patient experience
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
- Demonstrate active listening and empathy to patients using effective communication skills
- Detailed understanding of practice health and safety requirements

**Requirements**:

- Certified Dental Assistant Certificate from an accredited post secondary institution
- Registration with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia
- CPR HCP certification
- Implant experience and having an ortho module considered an asset, but not necessary.
- Power Practice and Cadi experience considered an asset, but not necessary
