Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated **Certified Dental Assistant** to join our team. As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and educating patients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment, restocking rooms
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, handing them instruments and materials as needed
- Educate patients on and post
- and pre-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Help schedule patient appointments in the back
- Confirming insurance information from time to time if needed as well as estimate discussions with patients from time to time

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- hold valid **Certified dental assistant license**
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with dental software systems such asTracker, but not a requirement
- Experience placing rubber dam
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children (pediatrics)
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week
