Electronic Technician

**Responsibilities**:
- Build Biomedical Test Systems using pre-assembled sub-assemblies
- Test and calibrate completed systems in accordance with company operating procedures
- Identify process discrepancies and report non-conformances
- Install and repair electrical/electronic equipment.
- Be able to repair small and large circuitry.
- Understand the concept of current flow and how electricity flows through circuits to help diagnose issues.
- Understand basic electronics, such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc.
- Understand how wires are used in circuits.
- Understand basic principles of electricity.
- Understand basic circuit diagrams.
**Skills Required**:
- Understand Quality procedures
- Knowledge of general safety principles
- Good manual dexterity
- Team player
- Excellent time management skills
**Education**:
Currently, completing 1st year or 2nd year of a Biomedical Electronics, or Electrical Engineering Technology Program.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
