**DUTIES AND RESPONSIIBLITIES**
- Assists in handling a company's inventory; and keeps inventory operations smooth and efficient in the stock room, warehouse, or receiving department.
- Receiving merchandise and ensuring the shipment content matches invoices and orders.
- Verifies product and quantity accuracy on incoming orders.
- Checks orders, logs items that have been received and items that have been taken from inventory, and moves product from the stock room or warehouse to the required location, and vice versa.
- Responsible for cycle rotation and reports back to Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
- Inspects shipments of new stock as they come in, checks to make sure orders have been filled correctly, and looks for damage; and makes arrangements document to correct damaged or incorrect orders.
- Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for receiving at establishment.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Receives deliveries in the shipping and receiving department.
- Inspects products for damages and reports as needed.
- Assist and coordinates the conveyance of materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, pallet jack, etc.
- Representing ICS both in and out of the store.
- Adhering to all food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, and other programs and initiatives.
- Performs spot checking audits of inventory including effective cycle rotation.
- Other duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferred.

**Experience**
- A minimum of two years' experience in a grocery role
- A minimum of two years' experience in a customer focused role.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Working as a partner and/or team member with little direct supervision.
- Having a well-balanced concern for both tasks and people.
- Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining a professional image.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, days, holidays and occasional weekends.
- May work overtime occasionally.
- Required at times to work with challenging customers and/or situations.
- Exposed to hot and cold environments.
- Exposed to loud noises and moving equipment.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Long periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
- Frequent motions include bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Manual and repetitive tasks.
- On occasion, you may be required to lift up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs).
