**Position Title**: General Laborer - Packer
**Location**: Richmond B.C. (V6V 3C8)
**Rate of Pay**: 20.43/hour

**Job Type**: Full Time Permanent
**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Production Manager, or designate, the Packer will be accountable for the proper packaging of protein products.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect product for quality, vacuum seal the item and place it in appropriate customer packaging.
- Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the products label.
- Ensure packaging is sealed without tears, damage, or visual contamination.
- Ensure the quality of the product is up to standard and dates are correct before processing.
- Package products to customer specifications.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Willingness to work with raw meat products.
- Willingness to work in a cold environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
- Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
- Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
- Training will be provided.
- Commitment to safety standards and practices.
