**Shift Lead - Production (Night Shift)**

**About Us**

**Position Summary**

Supported by the Production Manager the Shift Lead is responsible for all production operations as well as the personnel and the organization and effectiveness of the production area during their shift.

**Major Responsibilities**

**Supervision**
- Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, organizing of production departments personnel and machinery to attain scheduled production. monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

**Production**
- Accountable in achieving production set out quantities and quality.
- Co-ordinates the cleaning and other maintenance tasks within the Production area and all equipment and product located in it.

**Administration**
- Ensures all paper work is recorded promptly and accurately by all production personnel on your shift.
- Disciplines staff as needed within their authority to do so.

**General**
- Is aware of all Health and Safety rules and follows, takes action on and reports as required any and all unsafe working conditions.
- Reads, understands and follows all polices as set out in the Quest Employee Manual. Is a resource to all staff in regards to the policies and ensures all staff follow the set-out policies.
- Keeps all raw materials, packaging, cartons and finished products safe from damage, contamination and misuse.
- Completes in a timely manner other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Production Manager or the Assistant Production Manager.
