**Job Description**:

- Monitoring and collection of groundwater and surface water samples utilizing a wide variety of equipment
- Participate in waste reduction and diversion projects including waste audits
- Collects and interprets data
- Completion of field documentation such as project field reports, field notes, and laboratory chain-of-custody forms
- Management of maintenance and tracking of essential equipment, materials and supplies
- Carries out tasks as assigned and seeks/receives technical guidance as required.
- Complete site visits and inspections and maintain supporting documentation such as project field reports and field notes.
- Carries out varied tasks requiring general knowledge of the broad field of environmental sciences, sustainability and the circular economy.
- Provides regular project updates and refers any complex or unusual matters to the project coordinator or manager.
- Assist with report writing and ensure work is completed with accuracy and precision.
- Commit to implementing health and safety procedures and practices.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position, as may be appropriate.
- Travel and shiftwork may be required in all seasons and weather conditions.

**Job Requirements**:

- College diploma in a related field
- Good organizational, communication, research, and technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage several assignments at one time
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Understanding and/or proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Experience working outdoors and willingness to work in all seasons and weather conditions
- Valid G Driver’s License
