**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Receiving**:

- Unload trucks and other delivery vehicles.
- Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and other documentation.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.

**Shipping**:

- Prepare items for shipment based on packing slips.
- Load company and customer trucks (3-4 trucks on average per day).

**General Duties**:

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Operate propane and electric forklifts (certification may be required).

**Qualifications**:

- **Physical Strength & Stamina**: Able to lift and move heavy items safely.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accuracy in verifying shipments and preparing orders.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to keep clear records and manage multiple tasks.
- **Communication Skills**: Capable of interacting professionally with coworkers, suppliers, and customers.
- **Safety Awareness**: Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety standards.
