**Position Details: Full Time Permanent (Existing Vacancy)**
**Salary Range**:Salary range at $66,100 - $82,600, based on a 35-hour work week.
**Location**:Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre at Oak Hammock Marsh**What You Will Do**

As the Education Program Coordinator for the Wetland Discovery Centre, you will be responsible for the high quality of interpretive programs for school and educator, onsite and offsite in English (and French would be an asset). You will also be responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of nature interpreters.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Hiring, training, scheduling and supervising interpreters
- Setting standards and ensuring technical accuracy of the Centre’s Education Program (curriculum-based)
- Developing new education programming (onsite, offsite, and/or virtual)
- Coordinating, planning, delivering, and evaluating educator workshops
- Compiling statistics and submitting various reports.
- Serving as a media spokesperson

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with youth and public
- Bachelor’s degree in Natural History, Biology, Ecology, Education or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of natural history and ecology, including wetlands and their wildlife
- Proven track record of working with public and youth groups and coordinating training
- Strong problem-solving skills and previous supervisory experience
- Experience with various Microsoft programs - Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Teams
- Some evening/weekend work will be required
- Bilingualism (English/French) would be as asset
