RVS is situated on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta including the Siksikaitsitapi (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Pikuni), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, Goodstoney), and the Rocky View Métis District.

**The Opportunity**
- Christian Program teaching position starting **August 26, 2025 to December 19, 2025 (with the possibility of extention)**at R.J. Hawkey Elementary School.

R.J. Hawkey Elementary School is located in the City of Airdrie and serves students from grades K-6 including the Christian Program and Pre-Kindergarten Program. For more information regarding this school, please visit their website at.

**This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.**

The Christian Program is an alternative program offered by RVS. The program focuses on integrating the Christian faith and a Biblical world-view in a public school setting. The Christian program is a community where people and relationships matter, where identity and culture is clearly defined by their Christian faith, and where an excellent learning community is provided for their students.

**The successful can**d**idate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at.**
