**Responsibilities**:
As a Parts Driver at Big Country Drilling, your primary responsibility will be to pick up or deliver parts to various businesses in Strathmore and surrounding area. The Parts Driver is also required to drive to field sites located in the Fort McMurray, AB area once a week or more (accommodation will be provided.) This position is a full-time position, based in Strathmore, AB. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Reporting to the Purchaser
- Operating a class 5 vehicle (with a trailer, on occasion) to pick up and deliver various products.
- Filling out log books and following hours of service regulations when required (will provide training)
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle
- Following delivery routes and schedules with purchaser’s instructions
- Complying with all applicable traffic and other relevant laws
- Loading and unloading materials. (Will provide skid steer training.)
- Follow all load securement regulations and policies.
- Sorting materials and freight for delivery to various field locations
- Assisting purchaser with organization of materials to transport to job sites.
- Transporting good to various field locations in the Fort MacMurray area
- Assist in keeping parts trailers/yard organized and clean
- Assist in making sure all parts are checked and put away properly upon receipt and/or delivered to the proper people
- Provide Purchasers with all packing slips, invoices and other paperwork related to the pickup and delivery of materials.
- Communicating with Purchaser, Field Managers and shop staff using a mobile phone
- Assisting other staff in the shop as needed
- General labour, cleaning and various tasks as per purchaser’s instructions

**Requirements**:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Valid Class 5 license with at least 3 years driving experience.
- Must be able to provide a recent driver abstract if called in for an interview.
- Physical fitness and stamina to withstand the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and driving in challenging weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear and accurate information exchange.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate with crew members to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel as required.
