**Hotbrain is growing** Are you something of a "rockstar" digital marketing consultant who's ready to take your freelance business/career to new places? Hotbrain, a company based in BC's beautiful Okanagan Valley, Canada is growing and looking to add new talented Experts in Residence (EIR) to our team. Please note, as a contracted Hotbrain EIR, you will continue to run your own autonomous business as an independent consultant, but leverage the Hotbrain brand, portfolio, products and services, business processes, etc. (think of it like running a franchise, but with no pesky franchise fee). **About Hotbrain**: Hotbrain has a unique, hybrid business model consisting of Coaching, Consulting and SAAS. We work directly with Marketing Managers as end clients. Since 2017 we have worked with dozens of organizations in many sectors. Our focus is on helping marketing leaders and by extension their departments using data and analytics to improve their operations and find marketing breakthroughs. You can view a short video overview of our core offering, the Marketing Data & Analytics Accelerator (MDAA) Program here: **What’s Next?** We are currently looking to expand by developing a powerful network of certified EIRs who will act as our local representatives in key centres to develop new business and provide _data-informed, multi-channel digital marketing coaching services _on a monthly or quarterly basis to end clients. **What’s an EIR?** As a Hotbrain EIR, you are _the_ key touchpoint with program participants (aka, clients). Your main responsibility is to meet live with the marketing manager for 1-2 hours each month. The scope will include, but may not be limited to helping them: - Develop a measurement strategy - Select and define KPIs - Learn to ask better questions, create hypotheses, and test things. - Make recommendations regarding campaigns, content, vendors, etc. It’s a fun and rewarding way to work with clients You have no campaigns to run, no assets to create, just share your time and impart your knowledge and advice The scope of the discussions may include all things digital marketing (multi-channel), and is to be “data-informed” (we don’t like to use the term “data-driven” as we believe organizations should be driven by higher ideals than “data”). Our target clients are typically lower on what we call the ”data maturity scale” in their understanding and use of data and analytics, so your knowledge in this area will be of great value to them. **About You(?)** If you are a digital marketer with a proven track record and in-house and/or agency, including **management** experience—and at least 5 years total digital marketing experience—and able to make use of data and analytics, then we want to talk to you. **Contract Details**: Working with Hotbrain as a certified EIR is kind of like having your own “franchise” where you leverage our branding, client logos, marketing methods, developers (integrations/data connectors and measurement/tagging) and proprietary software platform, to offer a valuable and easy-to-deliver service to end clients (collectively, the MDAA Program). This represents a new avenue to grow your career, without needing to run an entire agency, create software, etc., while making great money. Also, you can take on as many (or as few) coaching clients as you want. Essentially, through your role as an EIR you will be able to generate a great paycheck for yourself with only very limited actual work required (and the work you will do is fun and rewarding). **Responsibilities**: As an EIR, you will: - Spend ~2 hours per month as an expert coach working 1-to-1 with each client. - Develop new, local client business. Our target client is a marketing manager who is weak with data/analytics and knows they need help in this department in order to grow. **Qualifications**: If you are an experienced multi-channel digital marketing expert with analytics knowledge and real in-house and/or agency **leadership/management experience** (at least 5 years total DM experience) then we want to talk to you We understand that everyone has their strengths and weaknessesand we want to hear about those too We do require comfort and familiarity with working with data and analytics. We will onboard/train you in our unique ethos, process and workflow, but you need to leverage your own skills and experiences as well. Obviously sales/business development skills are also a must. **Compensation**: - $175/hr for billable client coaching time ($350/m for 2 hours of coaching). - 20% lifetime commission on all new contracts (up to $400/m). This means for landing just one client you would earn up to $750/month for spending only 2 hours per month working directly with a marketing manager as a coach According towell math, by having 10 such clients, you could work only **20 hours** per month (plus business development time) and earn **$7,500/month** Not bad.
