Your role is pivotal in achieving our sales goals and maintaining operational excellence which allows you the opportunity to grow within our organization. **Main Responsibilities**: Store Operations Management: - Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring all security measures are in place. - Maintain store cleanliness and organization, adhering to health and safety standards. - Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal cannabis regulations. Customer Service: - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. - Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and responsible use. Sales and Inventory: - Assist in managing inventory, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular inventory audits. - Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, handling cash and electronic payments. Team Leadership: - Support and lead the team in the absence of the store manager or assistant manager. - Train and mentor new staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. - Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback. Compliance and Reporting: - Ensure all sales and transactions are compliant with regulatory requirements. - Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales, inventory, and compliance. - Report any discrepancies or issues to the management team promptly. Security and Loss Prevention: - Implement and enforce security protocols to prevent theft and ensure the safety of staff and customers. - Monitor and address any suspicious activities or behaviors within the store. Product Knowledge: - Stay informed about the latest cannabis products, industry trends, and regulations. - Continuously update personal knowledge to better assist customers and improve sales techniques. **Qualifications/Skills**: - Must be 19 years of age or older (mandatory). - CannSell Certification (mandatory). - Pre-employment Criminal Record Check (mandatory). - 1-2 years of key holder experience in Cannabis Retail (Highly preferred). - Knowledge/Experience with cannabis products, consumption methods, and accessories (Highly preferred). - Demonstrated ability in high-volume, fast-paced settings. - Flexible availability for weekly shifts including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts. - Strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills. - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Valid G or G2 driver’s licence (preferred). - Own a vehicle or access to one for fulfilling delivery orders (preferred). **Benefits**: - Free on-site parking. - Employee discount on products. **How to Apply**: Ready to join our journey?
