**Role Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Comprehensive zoning analysis for potential projects in a variety of locations
- Coordinate bidding process and preparation of site grading/servicing plans, arborist reports and septic designs with external partners
- Support the Director of Operations in project management of active files
- Attend external meetings with various approval agencies
- Prepare minor variance presentations and attend committee of adjustment hearings
- Work in collaboration with team members to ensure successful progression of projects through the SMPL project roadmap

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in planning related environment
- Experience working with zoning by-laws of various municipalities
- Knowledge of Ontario’s land use planning system and municipal government processes
- Proficient in MS Office; GIS skills are considered an asset
- Outstanding work ethic and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills, with a high attention to detail
- Capacity to manage multiple projects with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to effectively provide and receive feedback in a positive manner
- Driver’s license and access to personal vehicle
