**What You’ll Do**

As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of aerospace components through precise inspections using non-destructive testing methods. Your expertise will help maintain industry standards and regulatory compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment in accordance with company standards.
- Conduct inspections on aerospace components to identify discontinuities and defects.
- Interpret test results and document findings accurately.
- Ensure all inspected parts are clean and ready for further processing.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve NDT-related issues.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to NDT trainees.
- Follow all safety protocols and immediately report any unsafe conditions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-training opportunities.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- NAS-410 certification or completion of a related course meeting Canadian standards such as Canadian Government Standards Board (CGSB) - Can/CGSB-48.9712 Option B, Level 2 or 3 certification is required
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT) specifically FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection) experience is required
- Magnetic Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT) knowledge are good to have.
- Strong understanding of material properties and defect identification in aerospace components.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety regulations.
- Ability to obtain internal NDT process approval.
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Ability to pass a visual acuity test and spirometry test (accommodations available where required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.
- Ability to bend, reach, and stoop (accommodations available in accordance with applicable laws).
- Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
- Experience working with production management systems and internal controls.
- Must be available to work various shifts, including days, evenings, or weekends, as required by operational needs and employment standards.

**Shift Requirement**

Training: Days

Post-Training: Transition to weekend or evening shifts upon qualification.
