**Purpose**:
The Cybersecurity Assistant is responsible for creating web and social media content to raise awareness about cybersecurity and online safety.

**Education**:
Must be enrolled as a York student.

Preference will be given to students enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate studies.

**Experience**:
Previous work experience may be considered.

Demonstrated general knowledge of how cybersecurity impacts or relates to general IT systems and networks. Demonstrated an understanding of basic cybersecurity technical concepts and terminologies

**Skills**:
1. Ability to appropriately balance security awareness needs with business impact and benefit.

2. Ability to collaborate and work with others to complete a shared goal.

3. Ability to update websites and social media platforms.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook or PowerPoint.

5. Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.
