Better Way Home Care is looking for Certified Health Care Aides to join their team in the Red Deer area Ideal applicant will work 12 hour overnight shifts. Caregiver will be able to sleep when client sleeps.
Available to work 12-hour shifts.
- Personal care such as transferring, positioning, and mobility assistance
- Assist & remind clients to take their medications
- Assist with Simple Wound Care
- Health education
- Meal planning and specialized diets
- Assistance with therapeutic exercises
- Collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Companionship and emotional support
**Requirements**:
- Above average verbal and written communication skills
- Clean police check with vulnerable sector
- Excellent health
- BLS
- Credentials including HCA certification and registration on the HCA Directory
- Alberta Driver’s License & reliable vehicle w/ commercial insurance
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $150.00 per day
Expected hours: 12 - 36 per week
