**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist customers with selecting fresh produce and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department, ensuring all items are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Operate a forklift safely to move stock as needed within the department.
- Process transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including handling cash and credit card payments.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to enhance the shopping experience.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering products to ensure availability of fresh items.
- Implement proper food safety standards to maintain product quality and freshness.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with bilingual abilities being a plus.
- Organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment and manage inventory effectively.
- Experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards in food handling.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
