Bartender/mixologist

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with standard recipes and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with patrons in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly.
- Comply with all local and provincial laws and regulations related to alcohol service and health and safety.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the establishment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a bartender/mixologist in a similar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification (Smart Serve) required.
- Must be of legal drinking age in Ontario (19 years or older).
