AZZ has an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our Acton facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will support and supervise the processes and procedures in the plant to maximize quality, safety, productivity, and profitability.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Monitors operations for efficiency and safety. Ensures all regulatory requirements are met.
- Develops production schedules to meet internal goals as well as expectations of customers.
- Performs the same work duties as those of whom they supervise and/or perform more difficult skilled tasks or assists in their performance.
- Oversees production staff, including training of personnel.
- Collaborates with production staff and upper management to solve work related problems.
- Resolves personnel problems and complaints when possible or refers them to higher levels of management for resolution.
- Monitors and records attendance and hours worked.
- Serves as the direct report for plant and lead personnel.

**Qualifications**
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills needed.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control and costs preferred.
- Knowledge of hand tools and equipment is preferred.

**Minimum Education**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
