**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen staff. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to food preparation, meal assembly, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. **Responsibilities**
- Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the head cook or kitchen manager.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support meal preparation by assembling ingredients and following recipes accurately to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining high-quality food output.
- Participate in training sessions on food safety practices and kitchen operations as required.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn more about meal preparation techniques within the kitchen setting.

Pay: $17.40-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
