**Diesel Technicians**:
Job Summary

The Diesel Technician at Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and performing maintenance on all types of diesel-powered light and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This full-time position is based in Scarborough, ON.

**Must be licensed 310S or 310T with minimum 2 years e**

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, great perks & benefits, Technician job paying $35 to $50 per hour flat rate, paid biweekly. Benefits of employment include the use of Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC’s tools and shop equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and performance issues on all types of diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment
- Work on diesel engines and related vehicles, repairing components and testing after completion
- Monitor working condition of diesel powered systems and components
- Follow diagnostic test procedures and analyze results
- Perform scheduled maintenance services
- Repair or replace fuel injection systems, breaking systems, electronic engine controls, and engine components
- Stay up-to date on current technology and images

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma, or equivalent
- A valid Ontario driver's license and good driving record
- Relevant experience with diesel engine systems/components and tools
- Knowledge of related automotive systems (electrical, drive train, suspension, etc.)
- Ability to read technical schematics and diagrams
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently
