We are looking for a self-motivated, natural leader who shares a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience across all departments. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment to ensure our Peterborough location operates on a daily basis to meet our high standards, as well as manage the flow of traffic while empowering our sales team to achieve their goals and to meet the company objectives

- A strong track record with successful retail store operations, merchandising and customer service
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized and have a commitment to follow tasks through to completion.
- Have a passion for building the Bennett’s brand by recognizing and recruiting the best in the industry
- Must be able to adapt to tight deadlines and sudden changes in focus of priorities to meet the needs of the business
- Ensure compliance in all departments of company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional related duties as required

**Job Requirements**
- Should have a minimum of 5 years management experience and 10 years working experience
- Have experience in at least one of the following:
a) Sales or a related position

b) Management of a retail store

c) Management of a business unit or department (not industry specific)

d) The furniture industry (or a related industry)

e) Management of sales associates
- Keen eye for visual merchandising would be considered an asset
- Post-secondary education not required but would be considered an asset

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

- Peterborough, ON K9J 3R8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
