Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.
**We’re currently looking for a Babysitter in La Prairie.**
**A lovely family in La Prairie is looking for a babysitter to care for their 4 year old with special needs on days they are home sick from school. Needs will take place during regular work/school hours (Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm). Schedule will be as-needed with no guaranteed hours and notice may be short when needs arise, but the family can offer flexibility.**

- **When needs arise, the family will need care no earlier than 9am and no later than 5pm**:
- **Will typically need care up to 5 days per month**:
- **No guaranteed weekly hours**
- **Start date: Immediately**:
- **Family is hoping for long term, but also open to shorter term options**:
- **1 child - 4 years old**:
- **Rate: $30/hr**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Childcare for one 4 year old child with special needs (will likely be home from school sick)
- Meals and snacks as appropriate
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Authorized to work in Canada
- 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience
- 1+ year of experience caring for children with special needs
- Has valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
**Compensation**:Position pays $30 per hour and the family is looking for intermittent, as-needed care (typically up to 5 times per month) long term
**Job Type**: Casual
