Job description

**Accessible Vehicle Technician**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install mobility lifts, transfer seating and driving aids in a variety of vehicles
- Diagnose and repair installed equipment
- Diagnose service issues with vehicle conversions (door operation, electrical troubleshooting), and adaptation products
- Solve service problems on the spot in the field.
- Assist in delivery of vehicles to clients (detailing/preparation)
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms,
- Update job knowledge by participating in vendor service schools
- Perform other duties as requested
- Supply your own hand tools and tool box

**Skills/Experience and Requirements**
- 2+ years experience as technician (car audio or other automotive electrical)
- Previous experience installing accessible driving adaptation would be a huge asset
- Automotive mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential
- Ability to independently perform trouble shooting under pressure
- Valid Drivers License in good standing, clean police check, bondable
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a flexible schedule to maintain superior customer service
- Punctual, trustworthy and reliable
- Previous experience in home healthcare or vehicle adaptation would be an asset
- Interest in learning new skills and staying current on technologies
- Ability to travel for educational sessions (2-3 times per year)
- Fluent in English with good communication skills

Pay: $25.00-$37.00 per hour
