Key Responsibilities
- Prepare workpapers and conduct research to support Canadian income tax filings
- Coordinate filing of Canadian income tax returns and elections with external providers
- Prepare current and deferred tax provision calculations for financial reporting
- Prepare workpapers and conduct research to support Pillar Two compliance and reporting
- Liaise with taxing authorities on tax audits
- Liaise with internal teams to support organizational initiatives
- Assist with transfer pricing compliance and projects
- Assist with dayto-day tax matters and responding to internal tax queries
- Assist in adhoc projects as required

**Qualifications**:

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must have a postsecondary degree with a concentration in accounting from a recognized Canadian institution
- Possession of, or working towards, a recognized accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
- 1-2 years of relevant Canadian corporate tax experience
- Native or working proficiency in French is an asset
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate information across several parties, and manage competing priorities to meet both statutory and internal deadlines
- Strong problemsolving skills, and the ability to work independently with confidence on new or complex tasks
- Experience with income tax accounting under US GAAP and/or Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Previous experience with Alteryx, OneSource Tax Provision, HFM, and/or Microsoft Access is a plus.
