We are looking for a **Line Cook **to join the kitchen team at Devil's Glen Ski Club for the upcoming 2024/2025 Ski season. This job entails working for a busy cafeteria that operates three services a day along with some nighttime events throughout the season. We are looking for the perfect fit that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Start date will be early winter, exact date to be determined. Devil's Glen is open Wednesday - Sunday each week, availability on these days is a must.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency in taste, portion sizes, and presentation
- Ensure all MEP is ready for service
- Set up and organize your station with the necessary tools, equipment, and ingredients before service begins. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Handle, store, and rotate food items properly to prevent contamination and ensure freshness.
- Work efficiently to handle multiple orders and prioritize tasks effectively. Ensure all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner to meet guest expectations.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff, such as sous chefs, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to maintain a smooth workflow. Communicate effectively to ensure clear understanding of orders and any special requests.
- Assist in general kitchen maintenance, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas. Properly handle and dispose of waste and recyclables

**Requirements**:

- Experience large batch prep work, buffets and banquet style service is an asset
- Positive attitude towards your coworkers and membership is a must
- Good communication and organization skills
- Food Handlers Certification
- Patinate about food and working in a team dynamic
- Experience in the industry is an asset but we are willing to train the right applicants

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
