FTI Ontario is excited to offer _Training the Future Workforce_, a **Glazier** Apprenticeship Readiness Program designed to prepare you for success in the trade.

A **Glazier** is responsible for laying out, measuring, preparing, fabricating, and installing or replacing architectural glass, metal components, and air/vapour barriers. These are used in systems such as entranceways, windows, skylights, storefronts, wall facings, partitions, and curtain walls.

You’ll receive hands-on training, industry certifications, and the opportunity to begin a rewarding career in the finishing trades.

**Program Details**:
6 Weeks of In-Class Training (Unpaid)
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Led by experienced, certified instructors
- Tools, equipment, and PPE provided

**12 Weeks of Paid Work Placement (paid)**

**What You’ll Learn**:
The program delivers a crash course in job readiness and trade fundamentals, including:

- Health & Safety
- Trade Basics
- Foundational Trade Knowledge
- Hands-On Preparation

**Eligibility Requirements**

To apply, you must:

- Be **18 years or older** (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18)
- Submit a **current resume** via our website

In order to become an apprentice:

- Have government-issued photo ID
- A permanent SIN, S.I.N beginning with 9 can not be processed.
- Provide proof of a **Canadian high school diploma or transcript** showing at least 16 credits, including Grade 10 Math, English, and Science
