Five Star Contracting is a general contracting business that specializes in renovations in rental buildings across Toronto. We’ve been providing exceptional service to our clients since 1998. We offer a wide range of services for high rise rental buildings.
**Job Overview**
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. The process includes acquiring resources and coordinating effort between team members and third parties so that projects can be delivered in accordance with the plan.
In this position, you will oversee apartment suite turnovers on a month-to-month basis in a portfolio of properties across Toronto.
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and direct restoration projects from conception to completion
- Scope out new work and provide quotes to clients
- Coordinate and schedule appointments at job sites for subcontractors
- Assist with trade recruitment
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
- Review the work progress on daily basis with owner
**Requirements**:
- Proven working experience in apartment renovation projects
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, supplies, and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Must have good communication and customer service skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
